When I was taking care of my dad, after he became bedbound, I set up a folding table near him and I would sometimes work 5 mi uses on art. Sometimes I was lucky enough to get 15-30 min. I didn't work on art for a long time because I felt like there was no time. What could I accomplish is such small increments of time? Then one day I decided to just do it. It was a game changer.

L9ve how you did the spine!

I made one a year or so ago from one (corigated) Amazon box. It was inspired by another artist who used stiff wire to make rings to hold it together. Made a smaller ond this year using loose leaf rings. Now i got to put these ideas from your video into another one!

I'm always saving the cardboard out of the cat food boxes! I love the idea of turning them into a journal. Great rustic feel and the tape really seals it! No pun intended. Lol😅 Going to make one of these!

I started doing art journaling in my planner when I was still working. At lunch I would take out my little travel kit and work in it. Now I'm retired and don't need a planner really. I keep a monthly in my purse. But I still do a little coloring in it. Your journals are really beautiful. New subscriber and can't wait to watch more of your videos.

I was able to try this with packing tape and had good results with AARP, HGTV, and Dr Jen Ashton magazines.

Consie, I want you to know that I have taken your "just a few minutes" philosophy to heart. As a teacher, it can be really hard for me to find time to work on my art practice during the school year. So I took your advice and made a little art kit that I can bring with me on the train. I have a good 15 minutes to do something small on that train ride, to and from work, and it has made what could be drudgery into a little moving haven of creativity. I actually spent time the last couple days making mini journals to have ready to take with me when I go back to school in August. Thank you very much!
